A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

this is a smiling face graphic.

CAN A MAN BE A TREE OR A TREE A MAN?

This is a dividing line graphic.

If we look around we observe objects which can be picked up, moved about, and shaped and molded in many ways. In this respect, what we observe is matter...for instance a tree. The difference between the tree and man is that the man has a mind and the tree does not. At least, this is what we observe for the human can think but the tree cannot. But in the end the tree and the man will transform into dust; therefore, the tree and the man are really the same. Stardust!

However, some believe the real difference between the tree and the man is that the man has a spirit and the tree does not. But who said so! How do we know that the man has a spirit and the tree does not? We don't! The same Force that breathed life into the man likewise gave life to the tree. This writer believes the tree, like the man, and the river and the rock, all have a spirit and mind as well as body. The bodies all take different forms. One is no less than for all bodies and all matter is cosmic energy and all deserve respect. The mind joins us all together and therefore we are one. We are connected and interdependent!

Our linear perception of time would not have us believe a tree to be a man, or a man to be a tree. This reality was created by people to serve people and for people to serve. This perception is passed down from generation to generation. It is the form And yet, as human beings transform this too will change and linear time as we know it will cease to exist. When this happens, a tree being a man, or a man being a tree will become acceptable and valued. It is possible!

In conclusion, there is a saying, "If you always do what you always did, you always get what you always got." If one lives with an open mind and believes in possibilities of what if...then new multi-dimensions are open for one to experience. On the other hand, if one has a closed mind the possibilities for the what if will never come to be experienced. The perception is in the eye of the beholder. It all begins with a thought...an idea.

OOOOOOOOOH YEAH...

This is MY opinion so just DEAL with it
